The Iron Spider suit appears to be returning in Marvel's Spider-Man: 3, which provides strong evidence for the sequel's story. Filming is currently under way and some new images hint that the final suit Tony Stark made for his mentee will return in Spider-Man 3.

Making its first appearance at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter initially turned down the armour along with the chance to be an Avenger.

However, it seems as if the Iron Spider armour will be back in Spider-Man 3, and bearing in mind Peter's circumstances in the film, it makes sense for him to wear it. Tony created the suit to be his mentee's most advanced one yet. Peter has a newer costume made with Stark Tech as well, but it's safe to say that the Iron Spider is superior. Peter donning the powerful armour makes him more prepared to protect himself and others as the difficulties of Far From Home's mid-credits scene play out both in terms of how his real identity was revealed and how he's being framed for the death of Mysterio.

It's worth noting that MCU's Spider-Man inclines to wear at least a couple of suits in his films. Just because he might be wearing the Iron Spider in Spider-Man 3 doesn't mean it will be his primary armour in the movie. Marvel tends to update their heroes' costumes in every project for marketing purposes nevertheless, so odds are the forthcoming blockbuster will once again debut a new Spider-Man suit.
