Halsey has officially halted her long-delayed Manic World tour.

The 26-year-old pop superstar announced her cancellation on Twitter on Friday (Jan. 22), citing health and safety concerns over the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

“Safety is the priority. I wish things were different,” the singer captioned a screenshot of the announcement. “I love you. Dreaming of seeing your faces again.”

The North American Leg of Halsey's Manic World Tour - in support of a third album of the same title - was originally scheduled to commence in June 2020. The trek was postponed to the summer of this year. However, it was able to play some European dates last March before the lockdown. Now, with uncertainty about the virus, Halsey has decided to cancel the Manic tour altogether and give a refund for ticket buyers. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in early 2020, thousands of concerts, tours and festivals around the world have been postponed or cancelled in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.
