Although almost every film has been delayed due to the epidemic, Warner Bros. has taken the extraordinary step of releasing "Godzilla vs. Kong" two months earlier than expected.

Legendary monsters will face off on May 21st in theatres and on HBO Max, a streaming service, instead of May 21st.

Legendary Entertainment, the production company behind "Godzilla vs Kong", recently publicly teamed up with Warner Bros., threatening to take legal action if the studio decides to send all of its 2021 films to HBO Max on the same day its out in theatres.

The entertainment company was furious because Warner Bros. had previously blocked a $ 250 million attempt by Netflix to buy the monster movie. However, both companies have settled on a publishing strategy that mitigates disappointments and satisfies both parties.
