LITTLE MIX AND ED SHEERAN BATTLE IT OUT FOR U.K. SINGLES CHART TITLE

Facing a big challenge Little Mix and Ed Sheeran are battling for the UK singles rankings crown this week. The British pop group initially topped with "Sweet Melody", No. 1 spot topping the official UK singles list.

However, following the weekend sales and streaming process, "Sweet Melody" separates 250 chart sales from Ed Sheeran’s "After Glow", according to official charts.

Sheeran has plenty of time to make a move.

Elsewhere in the “First Look” chart, Shane Codd lifts from 6-4 with "Get Out My Head", which will be the Irish producer's top 5 single if it retains its momentum. This is slightly ahead of Meduza's "Paradise" with Dermot Kennedy, 10-5 on the chart Blast, which could be Meduza's second Top 5 song and Kennedy's first song.

Manchester rapper and actor Bugzy Malone gets off to a bright start with “notorious" in the early stages of chart week. It opens in 20th place after 48 hours, and it marks his fourth U.K. The top is 40.

The official UK singles chart was released late Friday.
