Halo Infinite is the next game in installment of Microsoft’s iconic Halo series and will be premiering in fall 2021, according to sources.

The game was initially supposed to release with the Xbox Series X/ S in November; however, it was pushed back to 2021 in August due to issues with COVID-19.

Given that Microsoft has not dropped a specific day or month, it could possibly mean that the game will get delayed to as much as a whole year from its intended release date.

Microsoft created a demo of Halo Infinite during its July Xbox Series X games showcase; however they faced some criticism for the graphics and visuals shown during the demo.

In a blog post, 343 Industries stated that it was trying hard to “create the best-looking Halo game ever,” and spends some time diving into graphics aspect of it specifically.

As noted by creative director Joseph Staten, it’s already possible to play through the entire campaign; all that’s left to do is fine tune, polish and fix the buys in the game.
