Seems like fans are getting what they’ve been waiting for! Metal Gear Solid will be adapted into a movie which will be starring Oscar Isaac as the lead Solid Snake, according to sources. You may have seen Isaac in the new star wars franchise as the Resistance fighter Poe Dameronin or as Duke Leto Atreides in the series Dune. It’s exciting to see how he will portray the role of master mercenary Solid Snake!

The Metal Gear Solid movie is currently still in the developing phase and will have Jordan Vogt-Roberts helming the movie. However, similar to all the other movie adaptations of video games, this one has been in the development stage for years — Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima first revealed that a movie was in the works all the way back in 2006. A fixed date for production is still not certain however, as stated by some sources, it doesn’t seem like we should expect the movie anytime soon.
