This national park and wetland sanctuary, with its dunes, lakes, and large freshwater bodies, is one of the best places in the world to see birds. There are many types of birds here; Some are Sri Lankan. Many birds migrate here from Siberia in season.
In addition to birds, there are many crocodiles that like to eat birds, as well as a large number of elephants. These beaches are famous for laying four of the five species of sea turtles in Sri Lanka.
The Bundala Park area is located on the southern Sri Lankan coast between Kirinda and Hambantota.
