MARVEL'S AVENGERS KATE BISHOP DLC DELAYED
The Marvel Avengers have been losing players at an almost dangerous rate since they went live in early September. As Fraser mentioned last week, this may not be a sign of an immediate problem, but it does get a little trickier when it comes to putting teams together for multiplayer tasks. Developer Crystal Dynamics, however, said it was confident players would return, adding, "We demonstrate that we continue to focus on improving the game by adding new late-game content."

Today the studio went deep into its plans for the future of the game, starting with the acknowledgment that the launch was "not without turbulence" and apologizing for the issues that have affected it so far.

Errors and stability issues are also at work: Crystal Dynamics said persistent crash problems on the system are often the result of problems with GPU drivers and working with Nvidia to sort it out. Changes in matchmaking also help speed things up, and reward drops will be made more generous: the upcoming AIM cloning lab, for example, will guarantee an attractive fall for the first completion of the week, and the "notable chance" of exotics in subsequent runs.
