'DANCING WITH A STRANGER' NAMED SONG OF THE YEAR AT 2020 BMI LONDON AWARDS

Sam Smith and Normani's smash hit "Dancing with a Stranger" was named this year's song at the 2020 BMI London Awards. The award was presented by the UK or European writer in the previous year and goes to the most performed song on it.
Smith and Normani co-wrote the song with Jimmy Knapps and Stargate (songwriting / production duo with Michael S. Erickson and Dor Erik Hermansen). The song peaked at number 3 on the official UK singles chart and number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
