RIHANNA DROPS HINTS ON NEW ALBUM

Rihanna is divulging what her next album could be.
The 32-year-old artist announced to The Associated Press during her Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2 events earlier this week that she’s looking at songs that are more upbeat in nature.
After hosting a bunch of writing camps to spark ideas for her new album, Ri Ri is weighing in all the songs that came before here and states “What do I feel personal? What is it that I want to put out? and as an artist, how do I want to play it with my art? How do I want to interpret that? How do I want to reimagine it? Because it’s been so structured before.”
Recovering from an accident involving a scooter, Rihanna explained that all she wants is to have an exciting experience with the album.
“You do pop, you did this genre, you do that, you do radio, but now it’s just like, what makes me happy?” she adds. “I just wanna mess around and enjoy music. Everything feels is so heavy man. The world that we live in, it’s a lot to take in. It’s overwhelming every single day. And with the music, I’m using that as my outlet.”
