Zendaya and John David Washington‘s movie Malcolm & Marie is set to be streamed on Netflix!

The streaming site purchased the worldwide rights for the film secretly during the quarantine and will be directed by Sam Levinson for $30 million.

The plot for Malcolm & Marie revolves around John Washington “as a filmmaker and his girlfriend Zendaya, following them after they return home from a movie premiere. Talk about their past relationships takes an unexpected turn, testing the strength of their love.”

The movie was shot at “the Caterpillar House, an environmentally-conscious glass architectural marvel” boasting more than 33 acres of land. During the filming, the cast and crew were all sure to maintain social distancing.

Zendaya and John also serve as executive producers on the movie.

Currently, Malcolm & Marie does not have an official release date.
