BORDERLANDS 3 COMING TO PS5 AND XBOX SERIES X WITH FREE NEXT-GEN UPGRADE

Borderlands 3 taking the leap of faith to next-gen consoles. At its PAX Online panel on Saturday, Gearbox Software affirmed that Borderlands 3 was in development for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Also, it was stated that for the owners of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions, they will be getting a free upgrade of the game.
The next-gen versions of Borderlands 3 will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second in single-player mode. As stated by Gearbox, players on current-generation consoles will be able to migrate all the DLCs they’ve bought, as well as their saves files, to the next-gen edition of the game.
Borderlands 3 will also include a new co-op features: four-player split-screen for local multiplayer and vertical split-screen for two players.
Gearbox has some more updates they are developing for Borderlands 3 which include new skill trees for all Vault Hunter classes, a brand new game mode, and novel Action Skills, as part of paid DLC. The developer also dropped hints that a cross-platform play will be coming in 2021.
