APPLE IDS WON'T BE ABLE TO SIGN INTO EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT AFTER TODAY

Apple users will not be able to sign in to their Epic Games accounts using their Apple ID after September 11 which will effectively cut users who play the Fortnite game. This is just another consequence of the publisher’s battle with Apple over its App Store rules and revenue-sharing agreement.
To continue to have access to their respective accounts, Epic implores players who signed up with their Apple IDs to update their accounts with the email they are currently using, and to create an Epic Games account password if they haven’t done so already.
For those who are unable to do these changes before the Apple ID access becomes restricted, Epic has a means of recovering account access through email, which they have explained in detail on their support page.
The reason for the barring of Epic Games accounts comes after the company introduced a new payment system for Fortnite’s virtual currency which circumvented the normal App Store purchase which is suspected that Apple has a 30 percent commission— for players on iOS devices.
As a result, Apple has replied by removing the company from its app store, though it remains playable and available for download by those who initially had it installed. Subsequently, Epic has sued the tech giant and produced a video that satirizes Apple and its advertisement for the first Macintosh computers.
The two companies’ scheduled to appear in court again on the 28th of September.
