MINECRAFT IS SOON COMING TO PLAYSTATION VR AS A FREE UPGRADE!

Minecraft will be receiving a free upgrade making the game playable in PlayStation VR towards the latter part of this month, developer Mojang Studios declared in a blog post today.
Its been a while now that fans have been continuing to ask for PSVR Minecraft. Although the ever-popular game is already available to play on several virtual reality platforms, Sony’s VR hardware has until now been sidelined. Mojang says the upgrade will come in the form as a free download patch for all players some time towards the end of this month.
The company reports that the PS VR version of Minecraft will be “100% the same Minecraft game that you can play every day, every week, every month, every year…on PlayStation 4. Nothing removed. 100% wholesome & pure full-fat Minecraft.”
Although there are some tiny tweaks, they mostly interface and set-up related to the VR. Players are capable to use the PS4 controller to move about and take action while peering around them with the help of the PS VR headset. Mojang says the game will have two separate modes, Immersive and Living Room, however, he did not go into further detail.
Minecraft continues to be an immersive success if it is almost a decade old. Earlier this year, Microsoft, which acquired Mojang back in 2014, reported sales numbers of the game now topped 200 million across multiple platforms, which spiked during the pandemic.
