COLOMBIAN DJ ERICK MORILO PASSES AWAY AT AGE 49

Renowned electronic DJ and producer Erick Morillo was found dead in his Miami Beach home following a 911 call, the cause of death is yet to be revealed.
Morillo played a huge part at the electronic music DJ awards event organized annually at Pacha club in Ibiza, Spain which is the oldest and only international ceremony for DJ’s and is known as the most important accolade an artist can achieve.
Morillo was a three-time Best International DJ winner for his hit song “I Like to Move It” which featured prominently throughout the Madagascar movie series. He also won Best house DJ 3 times along with a total of 15 nominations during his career
He also had success as the founder of Subliminal Records, which launched in 1997. The company produced hits like ‘Fun’ by Da Mob.
He worked under various pseudonyms for many years, but released his first album ‘My World’ in 2004 under his real name.
