'SCREAM 5' NEW RELEASE DATES IN 2022

The official release date for the greatly awaited horror film Scream 5 has finally been announced!
The fifth part in the beloved series, which was created by director Wes Craven and writer Kevin Williamson, will be dropped in theaters on January 14, 2022. Initially, the movie was supposed to be released somewhere in 2021, however, the reason for postponing the movie is unclear although it may be somewhat tied to the COVID pandemic.
As fans are aware, the Ghostface is worn by different killers throughout the franchise. Courteney Cox and ex-husband David Arquette are both confirmed to reprise their roles in the upcoming movie and Neve Campbell has mentioned that she’s in talks to join the film as well.
Newcomers to the franchise include Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega. There are even rumors that another big star is going to be cast, but those aren’t confirmed yet.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who are two-thirds of the team known as Radio Silence, will be helming the movie. They previously directed the critically acclaimed horror movie Ready or Not.
