'THE POWERPUFF GIRLS' WILL BE GETTING A LIVE-ACTION SHOW!

The Powerpuff Girls are growing up!
It was just recently reported that the popular Cartoon Network series will be getting a live-action treatment at The CW.
Arrowverse‘s Greg Berlanti and his Berlanti Productions will be breathing life into the terrific trio with Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier.
The plot of the series is essential, The Powerpuff Girls used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes. Now they’re disillusioned twentysomethings who hated having to lose their childhood to fighting criminals and hooligans. Are they willing to reunite now that the world faces a threat its never seen before?
The project is now in the development stages with Diablo and Heather creating the script.
In case you didn’t know, Cartoon Network is part of the WarnerMedia group, which is the parent company for Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions, the production companies who created the Arrowverse shows!
