"THE BATMAN" WILL RESTART PRODUCTION AMIDST THE PANDEMIC

The Batman is back under the works!
The production for the eagerly anticipated Robert Pattinson star led film is restarting in early September in the U.K. at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, reports the Variety on Wednesday (August 19).
The film was reportedly seven weeks into production when filming was closed due to rising safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie is “said to be a grittier and more realistic take on the Dark Knight mythos” and “has approximately three months of material left to shoot. It could potentially be wrapped by the end of 2020.”
Reportedly, crew members have been constructing sets for the film this month, ahead of the scheduled filming.
The ensemble for The Batman will star Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Peter Sarsgaard in an unspecified role.
