GHOST OF TSUSHIMA GETS ONLINE CO-OP MULTIPLAYER MODE LATER THIS YEAR

Ghost of Tsushima will be getting new co-op multiplayer mode later this year, giving you an immersive experience of the lore for PlayStation 4 action-adventure set in feudal Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, as the mode is called, will be available for free download for all who have their hands on the game. “It’s a separate mode that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey,” said Darren Bridges, a designer with Sucker Punch Productions, “but instead focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima.”
While the game’s main campaign focuses on the natural beauty of Tsushima Island’s open-world environment, Legends “is haunting and fantastical,” Bridges stated, “with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology.”
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is exclusively a cooperative multiplayer mode. It allows matchmaking between 2-4 players. Players can select four character classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. Sucker Punch will disclose more about the classes’ capabilities as time goes on.
With them, players can commence on a series of story missions of increasing difficulty. They may also play Survival missions, where players fight waves of enemies, including newer ones with supernatural abilities. There will also be a raid arriving shortly after Legends’ release.
