Laura Marano and Oakes Fegley play siblings in the new upcoming holiday season movie The War With Grandpa!

Their character’s parents are played by Uma Thurman and Rob Riggle, with Robert De Niro acting as their grandfather.

The story revolves around sixth-grader Peter (Fegley) who is pretty much your average kid-he enjoys gaming, chilling with his friends, and his beloved pair of Air Jordans. However, when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (De Niro) moves in with Peter’s family, the boy is compelled to give up his most prized possession of all, his bedroom.

Unable to let such an injustice stand, Peter devises a series of increasingly intricate pranks to drive out the unwanted house guest, but Grandpa Ed won’t go down without a fight. Soon, the friendly combatants are involved in an all-out war with hair-splitting consequences.

The War With Grandpa is based on the book of the same by Robert Kimmel Smith.

Christopher Walken, Cheech Marin, and Jane Seymour also star in the comedy, set to hit theaters on October 9th.
