After nearly two and a half decades, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will be receiving a reboot based on Morgan Cooper‘s viral YouTube trailer!

If you didn’t already know, Morgan released a dark and gritty trailer for the NBC comedy back in 2019, and the series will be based on the same concept. Morgan Cooper and the original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith will be teaming up for the dramatic adaptation of the show.

The new show from Will, Benny Medina, and Quincy Jones are currently being shopped to streaming services including HBO Max, Peacock, and Netflix, THR reports. The original show aired from 1990-1996 on NBC. No further information has been revealed to the public, other than the series has been in the works since Will saw the trailer last year.

Hopefully, we can expect a cameo from Big Willy himself!
