Shia LaBeouf is reportedly the front runner to play Iceman in a reboot of X-Men.

Although he is just 34 years old, the eccentric actor Shia LaBeouf may have been working for over 20 years and has found himself in the middle of the fourth distinctive stage of his constantly-evolving career. Reportedly, Shia was first considered for the role of Moon Knight in the MCU, but is no longer viewed as the first choice. However, having viewed his recent resurgence with great regard, Marvel is keen to work with him and they now can picture him in a role as one of the X-Men as another possibility of bringing him back into the big-budget environment that he’d previously abandoned.

If the two parties can come to an agreement, then Shia LaBeouf playing one of the X-Men will be an immensely exhilarating idea, and signing on as a secondary player like Iceman would also help the star’s infamously volatile shoulders and may present the perfect opportunity to broaden his role in future films.
