Michelle Williams fires back at fan asking why she didn’t appear in Beyonce’s new visual album, Black is King, on Disney+.

The visual album was released on Friday, July 31 and was a star-studded success. Fans were left wondering whether there would be a Destiny’s child reunion, after Kelly Rowland made appeared on the album. However, Williams did not.

When a fan asked where Williams was in the film, Shereplied: “I’m in the upper right corner minding my business!”

In spite of her absence, Williams praised the album posting a bunch of photos from the Disney+ musical film on her Instagram, including one alongside her former group mates and captioned, "When you’re trying to figure out what your favs are from #BlackIsKing! Ehhhhhhh just post ‘em all!!"

Although Williams did not appear in the Disney project, She has had a long history with Kelly Rowland, 39, and Beyoncé Knowles, 38. The three women performed together in the Grammy-winning girl group “Destiny’s Child” until they disbanded in 2006. After the split of the band, each of the singers chose separate roads to success, with Williams engaging projects on Broadway and subsequently making an appearance on The Masked Singer, nevertheless, the former bandmates continue to be close. During the Beyonce’s 2018 performance at Coachella, Rowland and Williams joined their former bandmate on stage and gave long time fans the Destiny’s Child performance they deserved.
