Despite an initial October rescheduling, both the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals have apparently been declared cancelled for 2020. 

Due to concerns of a possible resurgence of the COVID-19 virus, Riverside County Public Health signed an order on Wednesday cancelling both events. This information is yet to be confirmed, but reports have recently surfaced that Coachella 2020 acts were asked to wait for 2021.

Sources say that, festival organizers are working to determine whether the two-weekend festival can make a comeback in April 2021 at limited capacity, or whether it will come back in October at full capacity. It's currently unclear how the new dates will impact the lineup, which featured more than 150 artists and headliners.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert and usually takes place during the month April.
