There is fierce and passionate outrage in Hollywood over the death of George Floyd.

Recently, a 46-year-old Minnesota man was pronounced dead at hospital after a white police officer pinned Floyd, a black man, to the ground by pressing his knee onto Floyd's neck during his arrest. Bystanders had captured footage of the situation, which showed Floyd stating several times he could not breathe before appearing motionless with his eyes closed. This video has gone viral on social media this week, spurring outrage and protests.

Meanwhile, Floyd's death has not gone unnoticed by some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, who have taken to social media with public outcries of heartbreak, anger, sadness and the injustice over his passing. 

Celebrities like LeBron James, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Rihanna and others are speaking up about police brutality, racism and white privilege in America. Nicki Minaj, JAY-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna and Adele have also added their voices to America's “Black Lives Matter” demonstrations, taking to social media to encourage protesters to keep demanding change.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have joined a Black Lives Matter protest in Miami, Florida, on Sunday as well. The pop star couple joined demonstrators showing us that all these celebrities are using their fame for the best.
