About Sunfest
From its inception in 2013, SUN FM wanted to create an event in which people from all walks of life can enjoy. An event that will celebrates life and music; dramatically change the Sri Lankan entertainment scene and eventually raise the bar to international standards.
Thus SUNFEST 2013 was born. It lived up to its moniker of “Sri Lanka’s biggest international music festival at a sold-out, standing-room-only shindig at the SLECC with 7 world renowned superstar DJs and 7 stunning female dance troupes from the UK. Each artist with their own distinctive musical style made every song and live performance a memorable one. Sri Lankans and foreigners alike were mesmerized and astonished with signature mixes and mind-blowing SFX lighting that made everyone go into a fanatical trance.
