Taylor first started showing interesting music at the young age of nine when she began actively participating in musical theatre and performing at Berks. In her teen years she shifted her focus towards Country Music after being influenced by Shania Twain which made her "want to just run around the block four times and daydream about everything."and she knew at that very moment she needed to move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in music, she then started performing at local festivals and events and then started writing her own songs basing most on personal experiences.

She became a house hold name in 2007 with the release of ‘Tear Drop on My Guitar’ which pulled at the heartstrings of every young girl that listened to it. But her name really became a global sensation in 2009 when she came of with her mega hit that stormed through every high school across the globe: ‘Love Story’.

Since then her career which spans almost two decades have seen her release 10 albums, headline 5 World Tours and win over 500 awards and accolades which include 11 Grammys, 188 chart entries on the Billboard Hot 100 counting 9 chart toppers and 40-Top Tens. Taylor is the female artist with the most charted songs in the United States.
