In Billboard's series "You Should Know," artists share some quick facts about themselves. This time around is singer-songwriter Matthew Koma spilling some fun tidbits about himself, including his desires to be the best harmonica player and his guilty pleasure.
Koma was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Long Island, where he says they had "really good bagels." Two of Koma's favorite albums include Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run and This Year's Model by Elvis Costello, both of which he credits for his "foundational upbringing." The singer got an early start with music, writing his very song called "Downtown" when he was just 9 years old.
His song "Suitcase" is something he's really proud of and calls it an "honest snapshot" of what he does as a musician and the best introduction to his music.
