CARDI B'S 'WAP' RULE INAUGURAL BILLBOARD GLOBAL 200

The new charts rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 regions.

Cardi B's "Wap", Megan Thee Stallion, and Maluma's "Hawaii" topped the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global X. The U.S. The charts are dated September 19th, respectively.

According to Billboard.com, MRC today (September 14) announced the launch of two new global billboard studies powered by MRC Data / Nielsen Music.

Two charts, one featuring worldwide songs (Billboard Global 200) and the other US. (Billboard Global Excel. The US) including all regions, the chart songs were selected from more than 200 regions around the world based on streaming and sales activity.

The chart rankings are based on a weighted formula that includes official-only streams in the subscription and ad support layers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales from full-service digital music retailers around the world.
